In a nutshell, very similar in sound to On The Level with it's poppier direction.
This album once again managed to combine all out rockers such as Is There A Better Way, Ring Of A Change and (the fantastic singles) Rain and Mystery Song with lighter efforts (Mad About The Boy and Ease Your Mind). The title track of the album, the timeless Blue For You is delivered as a classic slow blues number. The punchy Rolling Home opened side two followed by the funky That's A Fact.
This album (like On the Level) has a bit of everything. Therefore if you're looking for an all out rocker then it's not for you.
