With so many other albums to pick from, here is a small selection of four from outside the Frantic4 period that may interest you.
Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo - 1968:
An interesting British psychedelic bubblegum affair! Quo's first album including some great guitar sounds.
Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon - 1970:
Lot's of hints of what was about to happen in Quo's rock direction in this excellent raw offering.
Rock 'Til You Drop - 1991:
A good return to form including a great re-recording of 4500 Times combined with quality production.
Heavy Traffic - 2002:
Again, another return to the harder, more enjoyable Quo sound. The title track should have been a single!
All the Vertigo albums reviewed in this section have now been remastered and re-released including some great bonus material. For more information, please visit the official Status Quo website.
